A motorcycle rider killed in DeMarcus Ware Youth Jersey a collision with a deer Thursday afternoon was a 35 year veteran of Edmonton theatre community. on June 5, 2014. on June 5. The crash happened west of Galloway Road, about 30 kilometres west of Edson.
RCMP declared the man dead at the scene, and say neither speed nor alcohol were factors in the crash.
The eldest of six children, Rusich was one month shy of his sixtieth birthday.
"He was so excited to be going on this trip," his sister, Helen Rusich, said Friday. "One of his favourite things to do was get a motorcycle and ride around the countryside. He was an amazing guy, he had a lot of passions in life."
Helen described her brother as a kind and caring man who had a lifelong passion for the performing arts.
Rusich graduated from MacEwan University’s Theatre Arts program and participated in community theatre in Edmonton his entire life. A single man with no children, Rusich worked as a bartender at the Chateau Lacombe hotel. Helen said he loved science and reading, and had a strong work ethic. He participated in dozens of local community theatre shows over the years.
"John had so much courage in what he did," Helen said. "He was almost 60 and here he was up singing and dancing with kids almost half his age. I just thought, ’John, you’re amazing.’"
Helen said she plans on taking improv classes in memory of her brother.
Rusich most recently performed in The Drowsy Chaperone, a comedy produced by Two One Way Tickets To Broadway Productions. Artistic Director Martin Galba said Rusich was a pleasure to work Julius Thomas Womens Jersey with.
"John is one of those hidden talents. When you watch him you forget that it’s John onstage," he said. "No matter what role he plays he just transforms himself. He was just amazing onstage.
"Doesn’t matter how DeMarcus Ware Kids Jersey big or small, he just loved to be a part of something great."
